Current smart phone recycling and reusing plan

I looked into Apple, Samsung and Huawei websites for their recycling smart phone plans. As they occupy the top three in terms of sales globally, their movements may dominate the future in such sustainable development.

I was expecting something innovative. But their plans all look like very identical. Setting recycle stations all around their market regions, telling customers that the companies won't charge them for recycling (this just sounds ridiculous, in that they try to make it sound like customers benefit economically from recycling), giving out discount price/coupons in case of customers purchasing new phone.

Besides, they have extended their responsibility to recycling smart phones of other brands. People naturally suspect if the companies are doing this only for market share.
As for their reusing plan, although they claim the renewed phones legally enter the second-handed markets, they just cannot avoid suspicion of selling renewed products as brand new. Moreover, after they close the circle of products' first life-cycle, they must start to consider the second circle of responsibility for reused products, such as user experience, safty. And it would be much harder to recycle a reused product which remains little value than new products.
